What is fostering?
Fostering is such a wonderful way to help give back to our incredible four-legged companions. If you love dogs but not ready for a lifetime commitment of adopting, consider fostering! Host a rescue dog in your home, teach them what love is, watch them blossom over the course of 4-8 weeks and then see them win the heart of their forever family!
What's included in fostering?
EVERYTHING! We provide our foster families with everything needed during your foster period. This includes: Food, Supplies needed (toys, bedding, crates, and more), as well as covering all medical expenses. We are also ALWAYS here for you and only one text away from your questions or concerns. All you need to provide is love and a safe haven!
About our Dogs
Pipers Path Rescue specializes in Shepherd-Type and Shepherd mix breeds. This includes German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, and more although we do have a soft spot for Labrador Retrievers, small dogs, and senior dogs too! With that said, we rescue those who need us most. Our dogs come from the euthanasia list at local county shelters, abandoned, abuse/neglect situations, and more.
When fostering, all we ask is to NOT expect these dogs to be the "perfect fit" for your family. We need loving, patient, accommodating, and most of all understanding people who can help us save these dogs and give them a new path to life.
Location
We are located based out in Aguanga, CA, which is just minutes outside of Temecula. We request that all foster families reside local to the Temecula, Murrieta, Aguanga, Anza, and other neighboring cities so that the dog is close to our trusted veterinary offices and when there is a meet and greet for your foster dog, we can easily arrange it all!
How to get started
The first step to fostering is to fill out a foster application! Once we recieve that, we look forward to starting your journey to helping save lives with us! We can only do this with the help of a village (that would be you!). Click the link below to access the foster application!
